Assistant Vice Chancellor, College Finance

Mario Rodriguez is the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Finance and Facilities for the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office. The Finance and Facility Division allocates general-purpose, categorical, and bond funding, as well as provides financial oversight to the community colleges. Previously, he was the lead on community college, adult education, career technical education, and transfer issues for the California Department of Finance. Prior to that, he was part of Governor Schwarzenegger’s Administration as a project manager of the California Recovery Task Force, which was focused on providing oversight to state agencies on how they spent their American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. He began his service in the public sector as a budget analyst for the multiple programs at the California Department of General Services.
