Train-the-Trainer Programs

Contract Education

Technical Assistance works with the other strategic priority sectors to develop in-service Train-the-Trainer programs for colleges to deliver the training to their business clients as well as to students at the colleges. These include:

  • Customer Service Academy - Private and Public Sector
  • Generational Diversity - Working with Cross Generational Teams
  • Lean for Office (Transactional Lean)
  • Next Skills Another key resource provided by the TA for Contract Education, is the development of statewide training contracts with business and government on behalf of the community colleges through the California Corporate College (CACC). Marketing and business development are completed by the CACC and services are delivered through the local community colleges.

Instructor Certification Program

NCCER has developed the Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) as part of the accreditation process. This program ensures the uniform and consistent delivery of training. Through this program, NCCER certifies the Master Trainer, who in turn certifies the local Craft Instructor. This network of certified instructors assures that NCCER training programs meet the standards of instruction set by the industry.
