Surveys & Benchmark Data

Contract Education

We periodically conduct surveys of contract education units in the state to compile data that can be used for benchmarking purposes. Information collected from the survey responses is used to inform contract education units about general business practices in contract education and how contract education units achieve high levels of performance.

We plan to conduct a national survey to collect bench marking data from contract education units throughout the United States. This survey is scheduled to be executed in November 2016 and results to be posted in March 2017.

If you have a survey question you would like to submit for the next statewide survey, please contact Sandra Sisco at ssisco@mtsac.edu

The Opportunity
For community colleges to become essential catalysts to California’s economic recovery and jobs creation at the local, regional and state levels.

The Strategy
Doing What MATTERS for jobs and the economy is a four-pronged framework to respond to the call of our nation, state, and regions to close the skills gap. The four prongs are:

  • Give Priority for Jobs and the Economy
  • Make Room for Jobs and the Economy
